Howard the cat was discovered on Facebook and drew my friend's attention by having the same name as her dad. After a lengthy vetting process (of the prospective owners, not the cat, and no pun intended, he is settling in at his new home with her parents. He is prepared to respond to his full name to the extent that any cats do. But he refuses to acknowledge any variant. So my friend's dad is now tuning out demands to get out of the biscuits or use the litter tray.
