Sunday Sightings

The bumblebees are loving the white peonies at the moment and spend quite a while on each flower so it is relatively easy to get a photo. I missed the Hummingbird Hawk Moth which was a bit more skittish. Now I know which flowers it likes I will have to try again. We have seen a new bird in the neighbour's yard - a Goldammer or Yellow Bunting. The juvenile woodpecker was back again today; they only come early morning and evening, now. Hubby also found a few huge slugs hiding in the undergrowth - not so welcome.
