First come first served

The vultures at the wine tasting in Lagrasse. Unfortunately the weather was hardly clement for an outdoor event, even with the shelter of the market hall, and definitely not appropriate for mid-June in the south of France. It wasn't raining, but it was a bit chilly. You paid 10 euros on arrival for a (refundable) wine glass and as many tapas as you could get your hands on (few enough that we had to have a snack when we got home). S and T arrived about 45 minutes after we did, on foot, and perhaps had a slightly better value evening. They were only charged 2 euros each for the glasses because the tapas had run out, drank as much wine as they could, got their 4 euros back, and a lift home from us at the end of the evening. It was pleasant enough though, with a jazz band for atmosphere. I took two photos, hence the emergency blip.
