Pentlands

A lovely day walking over the kips and back down the reservoir. Then coffee and cake in the new cafe. We met a lovely Australian girl who was very impressed with our wide open spaces. A bit breezy, but the rain stayed off. 

I was given a lift into town and then had to decide the best bus to get home. Extinction Rebellion were protesting again. Lying down in the middle of Lothian Road and stopping all traffic. Protesting outside both the Parliament and the High Court. I have a great deal of sympathy for their cause. I'm not sure the present government has the attention span to give them credence.
