Oh Happy Day

The pretty blue sky and the yellow dandelions make this look like a happy image to me.  It was a happy day also.  We drove the scenic highway 287 west from Dubois to Jackson Hole Wyoming.  It winds through valleys, pine forests and mountains to cross the Continental Divide.  At Togwotee Pass elevation 9,600ft there was snow again.  Down the other side and we entered Grand Teton National Park.  A section of the Tetons is in the blip.  First sighting of Bison created much excitement.
After breakfast as we were driving out of Dubois we spotted this horse event taking place.  (extra)  It was a two day event where the riders competed in age classes.  They had to ride their horses on a route carrying their camping gear on the horse.  Once they reached this area  they had to erect their camp.  It was a timed event.
