A Summer Migrant

This Valerian ( I think?) was attracting lots of butterflies at Pensthorpe  Natural Park today and this Red Admiral was being particularly obliging (best seen in large).

The extra is of Ox-eye Daisies, one of my favourite summer flowers, especially seen in abundance and in gentle sunlight, and a bit of added soft focus too.

A lovely walk with B and A today, enjoying all that summer has to offer, especially after all that rain, which not only makes one appreciate the sunshine even more but has obviously been beneficial to the wild flowers.  Having said that, my heart goes out to those in Lincolnshire who've had to evacuate their homes because of flooding.
