Red currants.

The rain and a bit of sun seems to have helped the garden if not my spirits....missing the regular sunshine of Ibiza.
We salvaged some currant bushes from my Dads allotment when the March of time finally prevented him from growing his own fruit and veg. The plan had been for Seth to plant them in his own allotment. Sadly although top of the list he has not yet been allocated his own allotment so it is pots in the garden.
The combination of red and green against the back drop of the wooden fence makes a good photo.
Grateful for some sunshine yesterday to sit out and enjoy. The cement mixer finally returning to the farm...no more mixing up mortar and the excitement in my sons eyes as he plans to move out with his fiance to their new home...exciting transition.
