Ringed Plover

Unfortunately the tyre hadn’t arrived in Tobermory- such is Island life so we ate our rolls overlooking the harbour then drove down to Loch an Keal to have a wander by the loch . It was bitterly cold in the wind but wild and beautiful.
We had the pleasure of this little bird hopping near us as we walked so we back tracked as he’d obviously got a nest somewhere at the side of the loch in the shingle .
At Ulva loch side we watched the otters again although still a long way in the distance just like two years ago .
