Another Goodbye...

We are in that period of time when we are winding down from the wonderful wedding and gearing up for the flight home, so we had a leisurely start and took a walk up to the Bunker Hill Monument with Margaret and Alan, climbing up the 294 stairs to the very disappointing viewpoint which Tony described as a pill box. It didn’t help that we were then joined in the tiny space by thirty adolescents on a school trip! We beat a hasty retreat and went for a reviving cuppa and sit down.

Then it was time to accompany Jen and Pete to the water taxi at the beginning of their journey home, never good.

Becky rang from work requesting vegetables so Tony and I cooked a hearty lamb casserole full of good stuff and now we are relaxing. Tomorrow Alan and Margaret are house hunting and we are going to visit the Boston Tea Party Museum before it’s our turn to head to the airport.
