Lesser Goldfinch

I don't know why this lovely bird is considered "lesser." But what's in a name...?
We had another gray and stormy day, but no more hail. So for a change of scenery (and to get away from the buzz of fans drying out our basement), I went to our local nature center and just sat breathing in the comfort of nature, camera at the ready. And I was glad to see this little spot of sunshine at their birdfeeder.
