Hot, hot, hot

A different kind of poppy today.

It reached 36 degrees in my classroom* this afternoon so I made the executive decision to cut the class short by 45 minutes - we may all have melted otherwise; our brains were already frazzled.

Let’s just say it was a decision that went down well ;-)

* on Wednesdays I teach in a container; essentially a metal hut left over from when they were adding new buildings to the uni and still used today! Fun when it’s hot - not!
