What a Day Out.

This is where today has been spent.  
I've had a cataract removed from my left eye and the day has been spent in the Day Surgery Unit at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.  Whilst the operation itself is just under three-quarters of an hour, there's an awful of sitting about waiting.....
The procedure has been declared a success.  I have to return in 4 weeks to ensure all is well, and then book a further appointment for my other eye.
