Our walk from East Linton to Dunbar, mainly along the John Muir Way, passed across the seaweed strewn sands at low tide at Belhaven Bay. In the distance to the north can be seen the remains of ancient volcanoes, Bass Rock and North Berwick Law, while behind us the thick dark clouds giving heavy rain showers over the Lammermuir hills contrasted with the bright skies over the Forth.
