Oatmeal Savage

G spotted this boat when we went down to have a look at the Pacific Yellow Fin. A man and a woman were beside it, and I asked permission to take the photo, being Scottish and all. It turned out that the man was also born in Scotland but doesn't like oatmeal.  Like me,  he had lost his accent. We each had experiences of being teased by Canadian classmates when we first went to school here. As we talked, we heard hints of the accent in each other, so maybe we haven't totally lost it!
G's mum called him "The Savage", so we both had a connection to the name of the boat, and we both like oatmeal.  :-)
