When in Scotland ....

This morning we toured the distillery in Deanston.  The building was originally a cotton mill and was repurposed in the mid 60s to make it suitable for this much more Scottish use.

The tour was very good,  I hadn't realised just how inventive distillers have become in ensuring their waste products are used for something else and just how little is actually chucked.

The whiskey is remakably good too :-)
