A Day of Peace

I have been allowed my car keys! At last!  To celebrate I drove to the beach. Felt a bit weird after 7 weeks, and my reverse parking left a lot to be desired.  But it's another milestone reached.

The tide was coming in, but the sea was so calm! Long time since of seen it as quiet as this. The beach was crowded - two other dog walkers there! Well, that's crowded by my standard, I like it all to myself.  The pups had a good time chasing the balls that I kicked for them; that too leaves a lot to be desired, especially when I accidentally kicked my shoe off and it flew into the water. But like a good dog, Saxon retrieved it before settling down on the rocks with his ball for a rest (extra)
