Busy

After a busy morning at work, I took K, our Malawian visitor, the other Malawian visitor and her host pupil to the zoo. It was interesting going around with Africans, asking "Do you have these in Malawi?", and seeing their reactions to variants on animals familiar to them. The girl liked pygmy hippos, and our visitor like the penguins best. I don't think they'd heard of penguins, so they must have been bizarre to see.
