The Crib

A central part of our new items in the house for Christmas in the Crib.
It arrives a few days before Christmas Day and is taken down after the Kings arrive on Jan 6.
We have a little family ceremony on Christmas eve where everyone in the house at the time participates putting in their little figure. A few readings and hymns are added and the youngest puts in the baby.
Nothing too solemn, but a tradition for 43 years.
These figures are for the entrance hall and are on the go since 1972 when our neighbours, then, Denis and Teresa gave them to us as a gift.
