Midsummer Madness

After a refreshing Aspall in the shade at 60 Million Postcards, yesterday afternoon we walked home via the seafront.

We encountered this weird scene on the beach. Chaps in black capes throwing square hats in the air. Folks dressed in their Sunday Best - on the beach!?!? Others swimming. What on earth?l

So after the grey weather, yesterday blue skies and sun. Then all hell let’s loose (perhaps). More thunderstorms (although we didn’t experience the last ones), heat (maybe in the 30s).
