Frosty Start

We got down to the farm shortly after 9:30 this morning as had to do some cattle work.
I knew we should have stayed the night as there must have been a good frost and it would have been lovely to get some early photos.
There was still a bit left in the shady areas. It is magical to see the ice formations through the macro lens.

The cattle seemed extra recalcitrant today and very reluctant to go where they should.
Fortunately our amazing neighbour (extra) came over to help.
He is well into his 80s and currently undergoing chemotherapy. It is incredible how some people just keep on going.
