Kiftsgate Gardens

We had planned to visit Hidecote Gardens with our friends today but the queue for the car park had a roughly 35 minute wait we were told (not quite sure how they can predict when people will leave on the first sunny saturday for 4 weeks!) So we turned left instead and visited Kiftsgate Gardens. What a treat they were. The planting is stunning and some of the peonies and poppies took our breath away. You do need to be quite sure footed to get to the lower part of the garden but the view was worth the climb up and down (see extras).
The visit managed to distract me from my head cold for a few hours so that is a good thing!
