Sitting Pretty.

We took the girls to the Botanic Gardens this morning.  It was a lovely morning, a bit cold only 9c at my house, and 8.1c at Alexandra's.  But it soon warmed up.

The girls had a great time watching  all the birds, and playing in the playground, and generally just looking at everything.

All the birds seemed very hungry, and followed us around a lot.  I was surprised as people don't generally feed them here.

Anyway, when the girls sat down to eat a snack a little Noisy Miner bird came along.  It actually ate out of Mia's hand, but of course she wouldn't do it again, when I got the camera out.  But one came and fed from Isabella's hand.

We left after a few hours.  The wind was picking up and there were a few spots of rain.

We came home for tea and cake, before they went home.
