A mermaid comes to visit

The thing that Violet has wanted more than anything in the world was a mermaid tail and on her birthday, her wish came true, along with a lot of other mermaid themed items!  Today was the first this Summer that it has been warm enough to get out the paddling pool and when we did, a mermaid came to visit!  You will see that she was accompanied by mermaid Barbie and merman Ken...
Meanwhile, Mr MC began the first of a two day project to replace our rotting, leaking shed roof and I finally got round to planting the last batch of Summer bedding plants.

NB, the mermaid tails include a monofin and actually aid the learning to swim process
