Rackable

The last time I went to a cycling event with the little Mini I had a Thule carrier rather precariously placed at the top of the retro Mr Bridger rack. Since then I've not had reason to conceive of anything else, but on Saturday I'm off to do the Rob Roy Challenge again, and I'm driving myself up this time, and wanted to take the old car. So. Twitter sourced me some free roof bars (well, I gave him a bottle of wine for them as 'free' just didn't feel right), cut them down to size, get them attached with some protection for the wooden slats, and sorted a fork-mount carrier onto those. And, well it looks like it'll work.
