Today we popped in to see the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. Fantastic! We've been dropping in for a few years now this year was the best ever. No surprises with themes.... refugees, environment, politics, connectedness, art, culture, juxtaposed views of a England, housing & art ..... and even an exhibit from the Church of England (or at least a model of a sustainable housing project commissioned & funded by the CofE). And a Banksy! It's hard to choose favourites but I particularly liked the inclusion of so many prints, more than ever before, and Japanese art too. See extras for extras.
