Oxford Street. Rosebank. Johannesburg.

At any other time of the year Oxford Street in Rosebank is heaving with traffic. But the locals have all fled the city in droves for the coast now leaving the city empty and ghost-like at certain times of the day. I love being here at this time of the year. Without the usual mayhem of traffic and people to distract it is as if one can see the city clearly. In two weeks from now it will be back to the usual chaos.
