Day two of Africa Oye and the weather broke. I was lucky enough to come across Folkie  -  right in front of the stage, and she was good enough to get me in beside her in the area reserved for photographers. Unlike the real pros, I didn't have any earplugs and my bones are still shaking from the throbbing of the bass coming out of the most enormous speakers on which I was able to rest my camera. But, it was worth it! As one of the other photographers said "It has to be done!".
