African Queen?

No, less glamorous I’m afraid. This is a canal boat on the Kenneth and Avon Canal at Bathampton.

We were doing a walk with the Cotswold Wardens and we though a gentle stroll on the canal would be easy, interesting and peaceful.... until we diverted on to Bathampton Downs with some stiff climbs and descents through quarries and woodland. I should have realised a ‘circular’ walk has this built in implication.
