Monday: Capilano

I had the day off today and we started off with a significantly sized breakfast at 'Save On Meats'. We each had a large breakfast but then also shared chicken and waffles so that we could introduce Joe and Stacey to them - they were a big hit, even if they did lead to food coma.

Then off to Capilano Suspension Bridge which was also our first time there. It was pretty expensive but, as we're residents, our entrance fee also gets us a year's membership so we'll definitely make use of that. It was well done and we had a good time - mostly at my expense as I seemed to end up in all kinds of family shots taken by other people. It was busy but could have been worse.

This isn't the suspension bridge but one of the walkways.

Back home for K to make a batch of scotch eggs and chicken before heading to the beach to meet Stiz and Jo. We followed our picnic with bit bat and rounders - so we're feeling pretty active and outdoorsy today.
