An early trip to Windermere to get a few more tasks crossed off my list. 

Stuck in a queue of traffic because a tracked earthmoving machine was being taken off a low loader, I decided to take a detour. This gave me the idea to come back the same way and walk down to Millerground for a blip. 

The weather improved in the afternoon and again we missed the rain that was forecast.
