AFTER THE RAIN

It rained so much during the night. I woke up in the early hours to the sound of raindrops falling on the ground. I’m going to try to put my disappointment behind me, but you know that feeling when you feel you deserve an explanation? Yeah, that. I met some friends from my time in Canberra for an extended lunch. That was nice.
