Letter Writing

A very wet and dull day so an ideal day to catch up on letter writing.  I don't write many letters these days but I do have a pen pal (Peggy who lives in San Francisco and we have been writing to each other for 54 years - I was 12 and she was 11 when we first started to write to each other).  I write to her every couple of months.  We also correspond by email in between letters.

I don't know about you but I love receiving a personal letter and feel quite sad that they are very much going out of fashion.
