Help wanted

Courtyard at St. Mary's Cathedral, badly in need of repairs.
Many efforts made to repair or replace deteriorating buildings.
So far, little progress.

I went into the building on the right looking for coffee hour.
The coffee was okay, but the room was unbelievably dreary.

Extra: A peeling — not appealing — pillar. 

The cathedral itself was renovated in 1996 for the 150th anniversary of the archdiocese and is quite lovely.
Now all we need are parish buildings to match.
