The wee simple acts of remembrance.

I am staying with my sister tonight.
She always fills this tiny vase with flowers and places it on one of Mum's doilies. These are pretty violas from plants she bought last year.

Our family love violas - a love instilled by my father. He had a beautiful scented viola called Eastgrove Blue which I cultivated in all my adult gardens until I lost it about 3 years ago .
Kate now has a wee bit of the plant she has salvaged in a pot, so at some time in the future I may again have it my garden.

Relationship with both my sisters is increasingly important to me as time passes and I guess we all continue and reinforce our wee acts of remembrance.
