Kind neighbour

Visiting next door on a quick errand, I admired this lily which was sitting outside the back door in a bowl of water, getting a drink. "Take it!" said my kind neighbour. No amount of reasoning would deflect her, so now I am the proud owner of a stunning lily!
We are so lucky with our neighbours. We are at the end of a cul de sac and the four families at the end have all been here for nearly forty years, some, like us, for more.
