Not In Service

A not very pleasant walk,  centred  on NT Hanbury Hall,  had us walking through two very large fields of what appeared to be pea plants and another field of some unidentified, but large and tough, stringy plant. The public footpaths may have originally been left clear but in places the crop is now over six feet high and wide enough to make walking difficult. Eventually we cut the walk short at a little over four miles, it had taken nearly four hours.
The bright spot was a farm with more than the usual amount of derelict machinery.
