My blip-years

More drastic measures required

It is only 8 days ago that I replaced a broken spoke on the rear wheel of the cargo bike. I was in a hurry back then and didn’t pay enough attention to equal division spoke tension to straighten the wheel.

I paid the price yesterday (and I was already afraid a bit) as I had two other spokes that said their farewells and broke. So today I took the wheel out again, removed and discarded all old spokes and relaced the wheel with new and stronger spokes. It’s much easier to properly straighten when starting fresh.

Picture taken just after finishing the lacing and before tightening. I will take it to the cycle shop of my part time job tomorrow to use the trueing stand there.
