Summer Serenade.

Today we went to the GowlingWLG law firm’s summer choral concert at the St. Philip’s Cathedral in Birmingham. It was a fundraiser for their chosen charity for the year,
called  the “Buddy Bag” Foundation. which helps children in emergency care,
This summer lunchtime choral concert was just an hour and wholly made up of lawyers from the firm.
They were put together by two talented young brothers ten years ago. They both direct them, conduct and also accompany the choir on the piano or organ. (Both are exceptionally gifted musically).
Always a delight to listen to them and today was no exception. One particular piece brought tears to my eyes.
Their voices soared in the beautiful vaulting spaces.
The next concert is at Christmas one evening. Already earmarked in our diaries!
This afternoon became very warm outside!
