Making Tracks

Work began on our local railway station months and months ago.
It was closed for over a week at May half term as new track was laid in order to eliminate a bend and to make longer platforms.

The work isn’t finished yet but passengers are now using the new bit. It was my first trip since the station re-opened so I took this from the shiny new bridge.

Off to London for a couple of days.

....and the sun is shining, yay!!
