Island Wullie

Oor Wullie's BIG Bucket Trail is on display around Scotland.

The loveable scamp from the Scottish comic strip is the inspiration for almost 200 statues across the country.

This is Island Wullie ; created by Katie Tunn. Oor Wullie is painted in marbled blue colour with outlines of the islands and coasts drawn in gold. The sculpture shimmers like the water. The bucket is wound with reclaimed fishing rope, representing the beach cleans the children help with in Skye and surrounding areas.
