Too Close For Comfort

The fledging nuthatches haven't learned to fear humans yet, at least not yours truly. I was out on the deck watching the end-of-day feeding frenzy when this bird, or one of its siblings, perched on the hood of my telephoto lens and tried to get inside! I wish Cynthia had been there with her camera to record it.
