This one had done a great deal of waiting, and turning its head this way and that.....

'Sure,!' he had said, 'I'll meet you right there!' he had reassured Glen, 
'Just get the birthday treats, I'll sort out the rest...'

Glen was not amused, it was quiet, and he had to do a simple thing....that was all, now.....where was he!!
