With each day the sun rises

Sunrise is so early now - around 5.45 - that I hadn't managed to drag myself out of bed to see it for a long time. But luckily, Laurie enticed me. It was our only chance for a last walk together on the beach before she heads off for a short trip and we head off into the sunset. It was so beautiful! And brought a sense of poignancy as I recalled our first days and our first sunrises here. Time keeps moving on, and water continues to pass (or build up) under the bridge.
