La Bonita on Alberta Street

La Bonita Mexican restaurant, a favorite of the locals and ours, located in Alberta Arts neighborhood in Portland. The building is one of the many in the area decorated with murals.  La Bonita  did not disappoint.  Afterwards we stopped at Tom O'Leary's for a pint of Guinness and some entertainment.

This week, our granddaughters are off from school due to  independence day Holiday,  translation "baby sitting duty is on" for this week.

Tonight, Portland's "Naked Bike Ride is on about this very moment".  This event either draws those interested and repels those who cannot abide it.  Nevertheless, it is a tradition that is part of welcoming summer.  For those interested the following URL provides additional information.
