Feasting

Something I have wanted to do for a long time is capture a closeup or as close as possible to our most common Bird of Prey, bit often fly away as soon as you open the door of the car or even try to get close. This is a Swamp Harrier Circus approximans, it is feasting on a Rabbit that was either road kill or it had captured itself and made very short work of getting all the good stuff. I shot this through the front windscreen of the car while MrsPuff drove closer to the Hawk for me. We also witnessed an Environmental disgrace this afternoon, check out MrsPuff's entry
