"Wait for me mummy"

I'm channelling Sue Lindenberg this morning with this family of Moorhens in Holland Park.

There are seven chicks at the moment and I found myself discussing potential predators with locals in the Japanese garden.

The massive Koi Carp circled occasionally. Mum spent time chasing off squirrels, but to be honest the little ones are developing a great way with pigeons. SEE EXTRAS
