Flakey Framing

We got about three inches of snow today. I used a snowflake window light to frame the snowy landscape of my front yard. The neighbors must have been backing out of the garage, or perhaps Rudolph has moved in across the street!

Still haven't opened the manual for the new camera, & I desperately need to. Since it's a Canon, many of the functions are similar to my point & shoot, but I'm intimidated by all I don't know about DSLR. The capabilities of this camera far outweigh my photography capabilities.
