Lake Lyell

An excursion with the photo group to the small town of Portland.

The best photo opportunities were on the drive there.
There was a heavy frost and the Hartley valley was stunning.
Difficult to stop on the highway, but it became easier when I turned off onto a quieter road.
The mist was rising over Lake Lyell and I just had to stop.
There are several I like and I had trouble choosing, so have added an extra.
