Silver-studded Blue

I took a rather long detour on my journey to Oxfordshire this morning to look for the Silver-studded Blue at one of its West Sussex strongholds. I wasn't disappointed although the males were particularly difficult to photograph in the strong breeze with few settling for more than a second as they searched for females.  You can just see the silvery-blue studs in the lower three orange lunules of the hindwing.
