EVERY ONE IS FLYING...

... another stunning day, and being our last of this superb "holiday" to get over a holiday we have again found plenty of action.

Started this morning with a Kookaburra sitting in the morning sun, then backed off and flew to the trunk on the gums to grab something out of the bark. They have superb colouring when you see then like this.

Then went out to a lookout to check if any further whale action? Well, although around 6 went past in the short time we were there, it was only huff and puff and a bit of tail twitching ... check here.

BUT, the other thing I had on my "like to get" list was a RAAF jet - well while watching the whales along came this guy looking awesome as it roared by at a thunderous rate!

Then found our way out to a few other spots along the coast being such a top day - best thing being we found the Macadamia nut plantation, so stocked up on some tasties!!!

Anyway, back home tomorrow for some more routine... oh well - but of course my hi light was that whale breaching, and of course going out with Jen of Newcastle Downunder for the Milky Way fun here.
Been a superb week, and good timing maybe because they say when you see and hear the Black Cockatoo it is due to rain - and whilst at the macadamia place this cockatoo was busy squawking, and just heard rain due tomorrow!!!

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE
